I chose this class because I’m interested in having the option to make a living on my writing. Also I’ve never taken an online class and I like trying something I hear other people have done at least once. The meaning of life should be living the way you want to live. Fulfilling and not too stressful.
Personally, my family wouldn’t understand my writing, well, my parents at least because of the language barrier. I think my writing fits in more with people of my generation and fellow Americans.
The concept of good and evil varies from person to person, but there are some universals that everyone can agree on like Hitler is bad and Gandhi is good.
I don’t feel that believing in anything divine will make a difference in life, but if it brings people comfort, I have no qualms with it. If it brings societal impracticality and harm to minority groups, I definitely have a problem with it.
Conflict in life usually pushes us forward and are inevitable. We should always strive to fight for justice and bring joy for those who feel sorrow although we shouldn’t give false hope. I wish for my writing to help people live better lives or do better than what they were doing before.
